Dave is CEO of Dale Carnegie® Maine — a training organization located in South Portland. Prior to joining Dale Carnegie Training, Dave held leadership positions for Nike and Exxon Corporation.

With over 30 years experience, Dave is a certified trainer of all of the Dale Carnegie® Courses.

In addition, Dave is an internationally certified Master Trainer for Dale Carnegie & Associates. As a master trainer, Dave has conducted dozens of training programs across the US, as well as events in Canada, Korea, Scotland, Mexico, Portugal, Greece, and Japan.

As well as on-going public programs, Dave has conducted customized training programs for local companies such as The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), Martin’s Point Healthcare, WEX, Delhaize America (Hannaford), Gorham Savings Bank, Oakhurst Dairy and the University of New England.

Dave is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in engineering.

Ecigs, Unisex & Prayer: New Accommodations

Brian joined the firm in 2013 and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. Prior to joining the firm he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Howard at the First Circuit Court of Appeals and a judicial intern at Rockingham County Superior Court. Brian was a teaching assistant for Legal Writing I and II and Evidence and a research assistant for Professor Mitch Simon for “Limiting the Use of Expunged Offenses in Bar and Law School Admission Processes: A Case for Not Creating Unnecessary Problems”, published in the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics, and Public Policy.

Honors

Brian was the recipient of the Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence and a member of the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program. While at the University of New Hampshire School of Law he was the Managing Editor of IDEA: The Intellectual Property Law Review.

Mark Gonska leads the Outplacement Practice for Dise & Company.  He helps employers avoid the second most costly mistake they can ever make:  retaining employees they should release.  Also known as America’s Career Coach, Mark has assisted over 8,000 people moving forward in their careers.  He also works with groups on plant closings and job relocation projects nationally and globally.

He designs and delivers leadership and executive coaching with a method combining People, Process and Passion.

Over the last 20 years, Mark has built a significant network of contacts in business, industry, education and not-for-profit organizations.  Nurturing thousands of personal contacts has proven vital to his success.

Mark’s earlier employment included international marketing and product management positions in a Fortune 200 corporation, successful start-up and development of a technology based company and entrepreneurial roles.  He holds a BA in communications from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) and completed additional human resources study at Baldwin-Wallace College (Ohio).  He is a certified Birkman consultant.

Mark has served on the Board for the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management and is on the Faces of Hope committee for the Volunteers of America.  A nationally certified professional resume writer, he contributed to the book The Five O’Clock Club Guide to Building a Great Resume.

Mark speaks with enthusiasm and candor on many career related topics.  He’s been interviewed on television, radio and on-line webcasts.  Mark enjoys cycling, connecting with his six children and has yet to convince his wife he should skydive and SCUBA dive on the same day.
