Show Topic:

This week on HR Power Hour: Employers have spent much of the last year focusing on employee health and well-being; emphasizing the creation of a healthy work environment to minimize the spread of the virus in the workplace.

Some employers have taken that focus a step further, to make sure that during this difficult time employee’s mental health is also being looked after.

Join Lindy Graham, LCSW and Founder of Well Space Maine and WellSpace@Work and Celine Frueh, Human Resources Director at Allagash Brewing Co. as they discuss the partnership the two organizations have entered into to remove barriers that employees may traditionally experience when seeking mental health counseling and care.

About The Guest:

Lindy Graham, LCSW WellSpace Founder Lindy has been providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy from a feminist psychodynamic orientation since 2004. Lindy specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, adolescent and young adult health, and LGBTQI health. Lindy also provides clinical supervision and consultation to clinicians in the field of social work and counseling. She also directs WellSpace@Work’s therapist access program providing counseling to the Maine workforce through employer benefits.

Celine Frueh has 20 years of human resources experience, including more than six years in her current role as HR Director at Allagash Brewing Co., and is SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified. After beginning her HR career in the software industry, she served as an HR consultant both as part of a firm and through her own business. Her love of the creative and collaborative world of craft beer pairs well with the brewery’s unconventional and authentic approach to business and HR as a supporting mechanism to make the company strong.

Contributing to the HR practice beyond her job, Celine served for many years on the Society for Human Resource Management Maine Station Council’s Legislative Committee and since joining the Craft Beer Human Resources Group in 2012, led the Craft Brewers HR survey in 2015 and 2017, with plans to in 2019, as well.

She also sits on the Human Resources Committee for the Portland Museum of Art and serves as a board member for the Falmouth Youth Lacrosse. Celine earned her bachelor’s degree in English from St. Michael’s College and her HR Management Certificate from Bentley University.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her three active boys and husband and takes in as much of Portland’s vibrant food and music scene that life allows.
