KEVIN M. O’BRIEN, a Certified Financial Planner® Professional, is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, a Chartered Adviser in Philanthropy®, and Founder and President of PEAK Financial Services, Inc. Kevin has helped hundreds of individuals and organizations reach their financial goals since 1986, when he first entered the financial services industry.
Kevin has been invited to speak at many business, civic, and non-profit organization’s events. Kevin has been published in local and national news media, such as the Worcester Business Journal, U.S. News, The Street.com, and has written the foreword to “The Art of Investing & Portfolio Management: A Proven 6-Step Process to Meet Your Financial Goals”. Kevin is on the Board of Governors for the Tufts Medical Center, in Boston, MA. Kevin has also served on several other non-profit organization’s boards and committees, most notably Reliant Medical Group Foundation, Central MA Planned Giving Assoc., and the Worcester County Estate and Business Planning Council. Currently Kevin is a Corporator for the Worcester Community Foundation and the YWCA of Worcester.

Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College where he majored in Finance. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional certification from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Co., and obtained the Chartered Adviser to Philanthropy designation from the American College’s Graduate Studies Program.
Kevin and his wife, Ree, have resided in Shrewsbury since 1991, and have raised two wonderful young adults, Kilian and Fallon.
Kevin enjoys sports, music, outdoor activities, and cross training exercise.
