April Sabral loves retail and developing leaders. April is an experienced retail operations leader, entrepreneur, executive coach(WABC), and Author.

April has led retail teams for brands such as Paul Smith, Apple, Banana Republic, Starbucks, Holt Renfrew, DAVIDs TEA. Aprils retail experience is vast, from a part-time sales associate to a vice president of stores in three international markets UK, US, and Canada, and is now the founder and CEO of retailu.ca.

April’s mission is to inspire a new era of leadership, one that teaches leaders to value their most precious asset, their people. Since 2019 April launched retail u, the online leadership portal for retail managers to develop their core leadership skills, and published her book “The Positive Effect” A retail leader’s guide to changing the world. April has mentored and developed thousands of leaders throughout her career.

Aprils clients hire her to coach and develop their leaders to perform at their best. Her clients include Ardene, a Canadian fast-fashion brand expanding into the US market, and other privately owned retailers. She is also working with non-profits to secure youth internships with major retailers into field leadership positions to support get the next generation of retail leaders.
