Our Guest:

Jane Salmen,
President

Human Capital Partners, LLC (HCP)

2013 Trends of Career Transition Services –

Jane started Human Capital Partners in 2011 to expand the services offered by her former company, BluePrint, to include Career Transition, Human Resouce Consulting and Professional Search.

Jane had one goal in mind: to build the smartest, most responsive human capital company possible. With nearly 30 years of account development experience, she has advised many of the nation’s largest corporations on how to develop and manage a world-class workforce. Prior to launching Human Capital Partners and Blueprint in 2002, Jane began her sales career at Control Data Corporation. She then spent 17 years as a national sales manager for an entrepreneurial staffing company, ProStaff, where she guided the company’s growth from an emerging player to a market leader.

As changes in the workplace create demands on both management and employees, Jane partners with organizations to provide best practices in restructuring, downsizing, mergers/acquisitions and culture change initiatives. She is particularly passionate about helping transitioning individuals move forward and realize their next professional ambition. Elected to a leadership role in heading the Lincolnshire International organization, Jane has responsibilities for directing synergistic growth and quality assurance for Lincolnshire’s 200+ worldwide locations.

In addition to her personal and professional community involvement, she has also served as the president of the Bloomington (MN) Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the executive committee of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Jane received her degree from the University of St. Thomas in Education and Communications. Specialties:Corporate Outplacement, Human Resources Search, Human Resources Consulting Services.
