Ralph Dise, Jr.
President
Dise & Co.

Outplacement & Recruiting –

Ralph A. Dise, Jr. is founder and president of Dise &; Company, a Human Resource advisory firm with expertise in Executive Recruiting, Corporate Outplacement and Leadership Coaching. Ralph has a life-long interest in developing leaders and helping enterprises succeed.

He learned his earliest leadership lessons as a teenager attending a summer military program. Later, when he graduated from college he joined the staff of a US Senate campaign. That experience exposed him to government and political leaders of every stripe. Ralph was fortunate to interact with a broad spectrum of leadership styles. He spent several years in government and politics before pursuing a graduate degree in business management.

In 1991 Ralph started Dise &; Company as a one-person business specializing in outplacement of hard to place individuals. The firm has grown to a multi-faceted human resource consultancy helping companies find the best and brightest talent (executive search) develop and retain top performers (leadership coaching) and separate employees with dignity (corporate outplacement). Executives of for profit and not-for-profit organizations seek Ralph out as a trusted advisor, sharing with him their need to recruit top executives or address key organizational issues.

This has given him hands-on exposure to a variety of organizations from multinational manufacturers to the Cleveland Orchestra to emerging entrepreneurial ventures and major hospital systems. Under Ralph’s leadership, Dise &; Company has grown to be a learning organization where new ideas are constantly developed, considered and applied. All of the staff members contribute to the life-long learning process through a structured professional development plan.

Ralph has an MBA from Bowling Green State University (Ohio), a BA from Westminster College (Pennsylvania), and is a graduate of the COSE Strategic Planning Course. He is past president of the Northern Ohio Human Resource Planning Society and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Ralph has also served as President and Chair of Lincolnshire International, an internationally recognized human resources consulting firm providing clients with an immediate, seamless response to human capital needs around the world. Ralph actively participates in the Entrepreneurs Association at John Carroll University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of: Aexcel Corporation; the Culver Summer Schools Alumni Association; Roots of American Music and Central Hospital Services, Inc. (CHAMPS). He is also a graduate of Leadership Cleveland, class of 2003. He finds time to practice his guitar daily and plans to become a rock star by age 60.
